What are your pro`s and con`s of having an old style husband/boyfriend?
I`m currently single and loving it I might add! But when I decided to settle down again I`d quite like a bloke to be domesticated and have the same old style ways I`ve recently learnt from this board.
There must be some irritating things about having an old style partner?

Seriously though - my wife thinks I've gone nuts making my own bread and slow cooking stuff and freezing half of it. She really thought I'd gone when I roasted my potato peelings.... until she tasted them :T :T :T .
I'm sure I must annoy the ***s off her but I guess it's better than being chauvanist bloke and doing nothing to help (we both work):dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -

That was my thought too. Do tell, TNG, sounds fascinating
"Next time", I'd quite like an OSer - as long as he did things "my way". However, I've decided I don't want an alpha male, I'd rather have a gentleman. (But one who is a 21st century gentleman, thanks all the same)

Only if you can do a viennese waltz when making bread and can manage a full paso doble whilst cleaning the loo! Professional standards only accepted0 -

um i guess my other half is not o/s at all. he wouldn't use the bread maker and wouldn't put soda crystal in the wahign machine to clean it. but he always put's any left overs either in frideg os freezer and likes to take it to work for his lunch. he loves me cooking and baking and prefers home made. he likes to lick out the bowl after i've made a cake if that help's.
my hubby totally supports me and lets me get on with thing's. he likes star drops tho,, as after he has done the washing up with it , he can then use star drops to wipe over cooker and worktops.
o/s or not i'd never change my fella. he's perfect0 -
This is sexist! I want an OS girlfriend0

I married a man who was the opposite of my MCP father in many ways. He is happy to cook, clean and iron, look after the children (when they were small) and he is very laid back and even tempered. He loves the SC but is a bit more reluctant to use a veg box scheme and is quite wasteful with things like washing powder and kitchen roll - i keep trying to educate but after all we've only been married 27years, Rome wasn't built in a day.0
