Xmas fancy dress for 10 month old?

I am taking my LO to his first Xmas party next week.
I thought I had a couple of years before I had to start being creative with outfits but it's fancy dress:eek:
I have no idea what to do? Something simple and easy please! Don't want to just go out and buy a hat.
I hope you can offer some ideas?
Thanks,
JT x

I got a Christmas pudding outfit from Sainsbury's last year for £8. You could also try Mataland who do Santa outfits for either £6 or £8. Can't remember which priceSo little money - so much time :mad:0

tesco normally have a good choice, 3 years ago our son was a snow moose, his cousin was a reindeer and his second cousin was a christmas pudding!!:p it was their first christmas and the pictures are great. They probably wont think so in a few years time

they also have 20% off the clothing not sure how long its on for.0 -
Why not see if you can borrow an old christening dress off someone and make some little wings out of cardboard and tinfoil.Thread a bit of elastic through the wings and tie them round LO- heypresto an angel!earn what you can, save what you can, give what you can :hello:0

Just wrap him in tin foil, and he can go as the turkey

I was thinking of Christmassy stencils on his nappy0 -
Take a white pillowcase, cut a hole for the head and arms, tie some tinsel round the middle and possibly add a tinselly headband and voila- an angel! If you were feeling particulary crafty you could also make some small tin-foil covered wings from cardboard0

Thank you all for your lovley ideas.
Loved the turkey thought Becles:D
In the end I bought a stocking from BHS sale which had a reindeer on the front. I managed to pull this off and stick it on a white t-shirt. I bought reindeer socks from Mr Tesco and a reindeer hat in Adams on sale. The whole outfit cost me £5. It took a whole 5 minutes to make, but looked like I had spent ages...;)
In fact my Littlie won the fancy dress comp!!
Thanks again all,
