My first online purchase - Thanks to all for codes

Managed to order 18 bottles (assorted Red wine) for £51.35 including delivery
which was £5.99 as I only ordered yesterday and used code XX-QQTV £15 off
Will get lower priced delivery next time and save more

got 5% discount on my delivery invoice (ordering over 6 bottles )

30% off some bottles in wine festival

origanal total £69.53 including delivery so saved myself £18.18 and not had to lug it home

That works out at £2.85 a bottle - Bargain and some of the bottles sell at over £5.50 each
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

Curry _Queen ... We are getting towards a complete list! The only thing is that when I tried XX-GFTR it said it expired 04/05/05 and not 01/05/05. Perhaps best to play safe and use it before 01/05/05 though.

Just did a shop using this code - thanks for the reminder about the expiry date (BTW when I checked my banked codes, the expiry date came up as 4th May, but I've used it before then anyway)

Thinking about it, I wonder if it's a personal code that was sent to a customer with their club card vouchers as these are all individual and tailored to your own shopping habits. This is where Tesco will really clamp down on misuse if they continue to get posted :naughty:
Well that's fine................but some of us (me and Judi anyway!) never EVER get sent any codes!!!!! So if it wasn't for this site I'd never get ANY discount, so would never shop with them out of utter disappointment!!

I've noticed this ... quite often when an expiry date is posted, I find that the date differs when I bank it.

Had a delivery yesterday and got £15 off with the XX-GFTR code. Tried to use the £3 off fresh produce code also, but for some reason they didn't deduct and said they'd send me an email today explaining why. This code was accepted online when I ordered, so will be interested to know why it hasn't been accepted. (Perhaps I was just being too greedyicon12.gif)
Phone them up and they will credit you instantly - no questions asked! I did actually get the code by joining their healthy food club :)

If you join their clubs like healthy living, baby etc (all free to join), you get mailings every quarter with coupons and e-vouchers. Also, credit card holders, dont forget to log on to the website for quite a few £5 off £50 shop vouchers - none that I havent already seen here I hasten to add!

Don't you get your clubcard vouchers then? It was these codes to which I was referring that are printed with your name on them, not the £5/£10/£15 off codes that are posted ;)

If it makes you feel any better, I never get sent any codes either apart from my clubcard vouchers hissy7px.gif

I dare not do this as, knowing my luck, they WILL question me:rolleyes: As I don't want to jeopardise use of future codes by all of us, I'd rather wait to see the email (though I haven't received it today as they said I would), or forego using this particular code.

Thanks for the tip about joining the Healthy Food Club ... just done it!
