Sorry for the confusion what I really mean`t was that the choice in the groceries section for wine is not as good and I also noticed that there is a £5-99 delivery charge.

The price in the grocery section varies depending upon the day of order. You can pay £3.99 or £4.99 or £5.99.

In the wine section the cost is a flat £5.

    Wine arrived

Colombard had been replaced with Chardonnay and slightly more expensive. They should really honour the lower price. Tut

Anyway, £15 coupon accepted. Charge to credit card £25.48 for 18 bottles of plonk.

  • I keep seeing these 'codes'. Would someone please explain to me, what they are and how they are used. I thought I was an up-to-date Granny, but obviously not so.

This is from an earlier post of mine - it may help :

"You have to order online to use the vouchers https://www.tesco.com. You click on the appropriate tab at the top of the screen corresponding with the type of voucher you have (e.g. Groceries for the XX-GFTR code). Do your shopping and when you get to the checkout put your code in section 4. 'Payment' and press 'Use Code'."

The best codes I think are still available are :

    XX-67BH £10 off £50 spend in Groceries section - Expires 24/04/05
    XX-WWNM £10 off £50 spend in Wine section - Expires 29/04/05
    XX-QQTV £15 off £50 spend in Groceries section - Expires 24/04/05
    XX-GFTR £15 off £50 spend in Groceries section - Expires 04/05/05

You can only use a voucher once per person. Hope this helps.

Doing my shop just now. Its the first time I have used the online service, and as my boyfriend works there we get 10% off (its a combined clubcard thing). Yet when I put in the clubcard number and go to check out I dont get my normal 10% off. If thats the case dont think I will bother!
