Now that Tesco have 30% off all Australian and NZ wines plus another 5% off if you buy 6 or more bottles I think it is time to redeem XX-67BH very quickly (as it runs out on 24/04/05 according to this thread) from Tesco Grocery section. In fact at local store to get the cheapest delivery you need to order today.

However, does anyone know definitively how to make the most out of the voucher? Is the £50 required to activate the voucher £50 before any discounts or after any discount? For instance how many bottles of NXG Semillon Chardonnay wine with a full price of £3.99 do I have to buy?

If the voucher was applicable before discounts then I would have to buy 13 bottles

    13 x £3.99 = £51.87

    Then 35% discount (£33.72) then £10 discount (£23.72) plus £3.99 delivery = £27.71 makes £2.13 per bottle.

If the voucher was £50 purchase after discount I would need to buy 20

    20 x £3.99 x 65% = £51.87

    Then £10 discount (£41.87) plus £3.99 delivery = £45.86 makes £2.29 per bottle.

Both scenarios give excellent prices anyway - just would like to know.

I am assuming that the extra 5% is off the full price rather than the 30% off price... is this assumption right too?

Yes - I have 7 bottles of NXG and 10 bottles of Brown Brothers Dry Muscat in my basket giving a guide price of £77.63 (full price) and it allowed XX-67BH. Have you already used the voucher for another order?

Edit: The voucher is for the Groceries section. I have tried it with 13 bottles of NXG totalling £51.87 guide price and the voucher still is applied - but what I don't know is whether it will be once it is run through the till in store as the total will be under £50 after discounts

Edit Number 2 : Just browsing another forum and XX-QQTV still works - £15 of £50 spend in Groceries. Even better! So will go with assuming the £15 off is off the discounted price. XX-QQTV expires 24/04/05 too.

Don't think Tesco are issuing any "new" codes any more (or certainly not at the moment). Virtually all the codes that have been posted here recently have been ones people have been emailed by Tesco and I've personally already got these banked or have used them previously.

There was a time when you could always pick up a grocery code from one of many forums/web sites, but not any more  ...
