 I get the vast majority of my stuff from a motor factor and I've never paid anything like £10 for an oil filter.Nuclear_Tom wrote:.....filters get done every other oil change, as they cost about a tenner from Ford!

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Excellent, thanks everyone.
So the general concensus is, do the oil and filter every 6k and then have an annual service?0 -
Always use the best quality oil to prolong engine life and increase fuel economy - cost of oil + filter is tiny compared to cost of fuel! Get a good local independant garage to check out your car just prior to MOT!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

the only things i would add is if it is a good car and you want it to last then use the manufacturers filters and good oil0
