Morning everyone
Weather seems a bit hit and miss at the mo. Not sure if it will rain today but have hung the washing out anyway. Man coming this morning to give a quote for conservatory. Am expecting a huge sum
but it needs to be done to reclaim some of the space back from kids/CMing stuff.
Not sure what's for tea (nothing changes there
)
Might take the kids out somewhere after this quote has been given but no idea where. Not really with it today am I??!
Mowed the lawn and edged it (on hands and knees with scissors!) then did a bit of weeding. Looks really nice out there now if you avoid looking at the "den" DS has built using the slide, mini trampoline and various tables and chairs LOL Am gonna shoot the cat though of she poops on my bloomin' veggie patch though
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.

Morning All
MIA for a couple of days - had a hossie appointment on Wednesday to see the rheumatologist Sods law my joints were not playing up and he doesn't think it is RA so that is a relief but he still can't explain why my hands and feet keep swelling.
Honestly I don't think he would have believed me if I hadn't taken photos of my hands when they are swollen. He has done some blood tests but I don't hold out much hope of him finding anything. So back to square one - I don't know where I go from here :wall:and I had a bit of a black dog day yesterday because of it all. Especially as I haven't been able to eat all week since having the tooth out and have put on 1lb:(
Feeling a bit more upbeat today though - all the washing is done and on the line and I am in a gardening mood so I will try and get a bit of weeding done in the raised beds.
(((((Hugs))))) to all in need of one xx

Blog - whats a blog? like an on line diary? Please can I read it too??? I don't think that people would really want to know about my life as its pretty boring - seem to spend most of it either in the postage stamp sized garden or in the house breaking up world war three! This daily thread is as near as I get to a blog! What do you put in them?
Well the lino is now laid in the ensuite - I think its gorgeous - its a blue water pattern - like a shimmering blue swimming pool. Trouble is the rest of the bathroom is greenish!!! Never mind, will change as I save for it. Very proud that I put the lino down by myself. The boys are now cutting up the remainder and making alien teddy bears!!! Don't ask!!!
Washing machine on final spin so must finish coffee and get to it again. You Osers keep me on track xMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
Morning Everyone
Not been able to post due to stupid new phone not letting me and computer not working properley, but is now fixed. I live in the village where they were filming for the only way is essex a couple of weeks ago, its where they filmed the blue boar pub scene. DS1 was down at the time and he dropped into the pub and met a couple of the girls and also mark. He said they were really nice and chatty. Tired mum have to agree with you as all the essex girls that I have met when I moved have been intelligent, nice and friendly and nothing like the programme.
os today is finishing off chores from yesterday mopping floors, cleaning shower room and making up spare beds as we have guests coming down this weekend to watch the london marathon with us. I am meeting my bestest friend this afternoon at euston then going out for a few drinks in london (am very excited). Managed to get lots of my veggies planted this week too.
My new job is going well I think, very much out of my comfort zone though, its hard work waiting tables. I am on a steep learning curve, never done this before. Dont get paid till middle of next month though.
BB understand how you feel, Me and DH seem to have had a week of arguments, I am used to living on my own and this adjustment to married life is hard especially as I was always used to managing my own money and earning a reasonable amount and now all I seem to do is clean constantly.
BB - Hope you manage to talk things through.
JG - Sounds like you have had a fab time with your children these holidays.
Butterfly Brain - Glad you are feeling a little better today.
Flutterby - Thinking of you and your family.
Sorry my memory seems to be fading today, Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Enjoy the rest of your day.Take Care.
