Orange San Francisco Deal - What Can I Do

Hi all,
Thanks to some info from our friend at HUKD,
Orange is running an offer where if you are a PAYG customer (for 3 months or more) then you can get a £30 discount and get the OSF for £79.99 (INCL £10 Top-Up)
However, sad thing is, I don't have a Orange sim or any friends on Orange, so was wondering what the best thing to do is?
I don't want to be buying off eBay where prices are steep.

Thank you in advance!

  • The handset has been reduced to £94.99 on the Orange website now so does that mean the handset would now cost £64.99 with the above offer?

As for the above i don't really see how you can do it to be honest if you don't know anyone on the network and buying a SIM would not help anyway if it had not been an active account/SIM for 3 months?

If you phone up customer services, and you are an orange customer, then you get it for £79.99

Yes, just done this. I wasn't on Orange but the OH was. £80 delivered
  • I bought this handset a couple of weeks ago for use with the remaining months of my T-Mobile contract. £99 including a £10 top-up in Argos, which at the time was £20 cheaper than on the Orange Website.

And its a brilliant handset - high-res screen, decent build quality. You can unlock it for free online, and in my case I flashed it with non-Orange firmware so that its back to being a ZTE Blade rather than an Orange San Fransisco.

Of all the cheap PAYG Android handsets out there, this is the one.

Get a free Orange sim (there are stacks on the net).
    Register it.
Wait a day and call in, tell them you're an Orange payg customer and you'd like the OSF at the reduced price.
You may get lucky on your first call, if not just hang up and call again. In the end you will get it for that price. There are a number of staff being 'let go' due to to the T mobile merger, they don't give a toss what the rule is now...

I've been with Orange since 2000 and bought a SF last month. When I was in the Orange shop looking at it there was no mention of any money off at all! grrrr

You don't get it in store, it's a deal that telesales are doing.

The stores and telesales are separate operations and have their own offers.

I'm looking for a phone that will allow me to run the streaming video on these 2 pages.. I'm probably looking for the impossible, but you never know.
Will the San Francisco run them?
    Thanks
