If you go to
runningyouragency.co.uk
the manual is there, and it says nothing about being charged these amounts.
It is dam right disgraceful, why should we be charged for other peoples debts, half of them have over committed themselves and now can't afford to pay.
We have all been in debt sometime of our lives but I have always paid mine. I am sure this is totally wrong. Provident are not getting a payment off these customers so they are ripping the agent off instead. I am losing money nearly every week and its my only income. I was £15 up one week but it is as only happened once.
VERY VERY ANGRY0 -
my manager did a £200 loan to a young unemployed couple 3 weeks ago who are part of my round, they should have paid me £10.50 including another loan.
the following 3 weeks they didnt/couldnt pay me, i asked them to text me if they couldnt pay so i could avoid the 6 mile round trip.
today they told me that they have gone into 'debt recovery' .............
another £5 and £10 fine for me to look forward to:mad:

My DM give one of my customers a loan of £1500 because he needed the sales, did it behind my back and told me after, I told him she was a bad customer and I would not have done it, now she will not pay, she has left her home UTR but Provident are now deducting my wages and its not my fault. Provident is my only income, I live on my own, how am I going to manage because it will only get worse. ( they did say they would refund me if its proven she is UTR, she does not live at the address anymore what more proof do they need, Provident should be plastered all over a National paper for all to see and rip them apart.0

I occasionally deputise to earn some extra income when my other job is slack. I had heard about the new system and couldnt believe my last two weeks deductions.
Two weeks ago it was £45 and this week its £70 off my money in deductions!
Well I said I would cover for the agents holidays but this will be my last, provident you have lost an honest, trustworthy deputy but I doubt that will matter.
Even the DM realises this, what a sorry state this company is in to fine agents and deputys who have no chance to recoup their losses.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -

They said that if Provident make any changes to your contractual agreement they have to give you 3 months notice if you have worked for the company for over three years. (we had a weeks notice) I told my DM this and the next day I was told that there would be no deductions made that week because head office had cocked up the paperwork and could not enforce the new system. If they do implement the new system in that three month period, you are entitled to claim back everything they have taken off you. Interesting isnt it that the deductions were suspended for that week.0
