Nothing for a change.
Had a terrible week, bought new glasses for OH for £380 (I know, but he needed high index lenses as has v poor eyesight and this included eye test), road tax (£170), and xmas prezzies £300 so far (v big family).
Still got a load more prezzies to get but when you have 2 sisters, 1 half brother, 3 stepsisters, 1 stepbrother and 9 nieces and nephews then what can you do? (and that is just my family, OH also has relatives!) I could just offend them completely all by opting out of xmas completely this year. What do you think? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

i wanted a non spend day but i got to work and forgot my bread for toast (so that cost me 10p) on the plus side i did come home to find my pigsback boots voucher but i have seen in some brocheres that came today too a fab little money bank that requires you to finish the puzzle before you can get your money out... bit pricey though
will have to think on that one

Hello lovely DFWs
I've been trying to get in the site for ages but no luck! Smilies and thanks button not working but at least I think I am in now....
Thanks Bobbly, very good of you to 'open shop' and I can see you have been working hard at it today
I've spent some money on travelling which will all be refunded as it was work related so that doesn't count. I bought a hot chocolate though, which will count. It was £1.75 and I blame Phoenix
Hope you are all having a lovely evening!
PS Rog2, hope you are better now. Almost feel bad for telling off the absent ones yesterday! Lots of rest and let Mrs Rog do her nusing thing on you nowLeason learnt :beer:0 -

got to the end of the day and it's officially a no-spend day now – hurrah!! well yes I know it's only 5pm but I've got my dinner in the fridge waiting to be heated up for tonight and so simply no reason to spend anything now. May have some small expenditure tomorrow – have promised to make someone pecan pie with vanilla icecream for Saturday night and I'll really have to make the icecream tomorrow, so will have to buy eggs & milk. But that won't be too costly0
