I couldn't see this anywhere so sorry if this is a duplication.
Good morning everyone, so how much have/will you spend today? I'm buying some hair straighteners from my Clothes and Treats budget. My sister-in-law works in a salon and has bought them for me with 20% off. So that's £32.00.
Have a sandwich with me so no spends for lunch.
Have a good DFW day everyone.

Thanks for starting the thread Bobble Hat. I'm not planning on spending anything today, because I've made myself great sandwiches, and all's right with the world!

Afternoon bobble,it's going to be a no spend day here, not going out, having a duvet day, very cold outside today.
Bit fed up this morning, the lady who was buying our unit has decided she now doesn't want it  DH refused 3 hours overtime to show her it,sorted out a van from work, then told work he wouldn't work the weekend as he was delivering this unit, now she sent a text saying 'sorry I've changed my mind' she could have told us at the beginning of the week before we sorted all these plans to fit into her schedule, some people!!!
Anyway have a good day everyone

Hello Bobble and everyone

Just been out to meet SIL and pick up straighteners, ended up buying drinks for £1.95 and multipack of french fries and choc bars (£1.98) for next today, tomorrow and next weeks pack lunches. Couldn't bear to buy just one pack at 35p when 10 packs cost £1.43!!

Gemmzie - £7 on buses!! I really despise public transport, but use every day out of necessity. The govt. really should be doing more towards making it easier and cheaper.
poorbutrich - Well done on the sandwich making, I took a photo of my colleaugue eating his first homemade sandwich yesterday, I think my addiction for this site is rubbing off on people. :rotfl:
livinginhope - Most annoying when people let you down, especially when you've planned for it.
LolStevo - Enjoy your Christmas shopping, good luck with not spending too much.
PercyPig - Debt freedom is definitely not worth sacrificing fun with old friends for. Plus you've allocated budget for it. :T"Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

I am growing to hate these threads - they stop me buying *anything*.
I've been out in my lunch hour to buy a T-Shirt I've been wanting with my brithday money. I got to the shop, found the t-shirt, tried it on and then put it back thinking 'Oh, I should put that money towards my Egg card'. So here I am, no money spent but nothing new to wear either
