£1 for me, hula hoops and diet coke. Couldn't face JUST a tin of soup and it seemed better than going to m&s for a prawn salad0

Hi Bobble_Hat - Well done for standing in for Moozie - it's not the easiest of jobs, as I know.
Firstly, I would like to apologise for not posting for a couple of days - I have not been slacking. I went to Tesco, on Tuesday, where I spent the total of £7.66 on my tobacco and some bits for sandwiches. When I got home, I started to feel a bit unwell (flu-ish) and by two o'clock I was in bed, where I remained, other than a couple of hours wrapped in a blanket watching the tv, until this morning. Must be the same bug that's been doing the rounds.
Only good thing is that I haven't been able to spend. :T :T
Still - much better today - hope moozie hasn't gone down with anything.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
Hi all, thanks for starting the thread bobble!
I have had a bad spend day, bumped into an old colleague at lunch (I only went out for fresh air and a sarnie from boots) and got roped into going to the pub for lunch instead (ok, I admit she only had to gently twist my arm!) so I have spent £10. Not so bad, I will definitely come in under budget this week. Got (another) work dinner tonight so won't spend anything as long as I get the tube home (or get work to pay for a cab!)Saving for an early retirement!0 -

72p on some lard to make some pastry
£3.30 on a bus ticket

Queen_B - *LOL* I sometimes think chocolate shouldn't be counted because sometimes, you just gotta. :rotfl:
cathybird - Hope you managed a NSD
Batfink - Ahhh, I'm sure you'll look great in whatever you wear. And you love it really.
bobbadog - £1 is much better than a pricey prawn salad, so well done :T
iceicebaby - Well done, and enjoy the decorating.
black-saturn - Useful and by the sounds of it, for that price, very DFW. :T
rog2 - Glad to hear you're not too under the weather. I have to admint Moozie's shoes are difficult to fill, she is very good at it.
Imelda - Still under budget and caught up with friends, I would call that a good day.
Mrs(no)money - Not a bad day for you, are you making anything exciting with the pastry? Mince pies? :xmassmile
inspiremetosave - Well done on a NSD :T
emylou - Well done on Debt repayments, I think you deserved a little something as a treat too.
LookingAhead - I keep booking things in then forgetting to add to my budget! Well done on banking some though. :T"Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)
