Grrr@ Sky and Madness!

The Sky subscriber in my household is leaving in 1 months time.

He has given notice and all is in hand.

Me on the other hand, appears to have to pay £49 for a new Sky+ box and £30 set up charge! I have the Sky+ box and 2 other boxes for that matter, with multi room, all set up and ready to go! :rotfl: However, Sky are saying "nope, you have to pay"!

Is there anyway around this?

They don't need to charge you for set up at all, you simply need a new viewing card.

Ask to speak to a manager.

If not, e-mail sky's CEO!! His e-mail is on the forum

I havent held a Sky subscription for 3 yrs. All the kit is here including the multi room but each time I look at the Sky package I have to pay for a new box for that room as well.

    *sigh*

All you need do is ask Sky for "a second-hand contract". Tell them everything is installed. You sign the contract and return it. They send you the viewing card. They bill you monthly for your viewing. Once it's up and running, you ask for a multiroom card at an extra £10.25 per month.
