Nokia payg to Siemens handset??

I have a little used Seimens handset on Orange payg into which I wish to transfer a Nokia vodaphone sim card to retain vodaphone facilities & dispose of old handset.
The newer phone will not accept the vodaphone thingy, so what should I do now please.
