Cancelling Cards

I've been making use of this facility for several years now (since seeing the 90 days mentioned in a covering letter from one of them - can't remember which though), and in my experience the only things you can't discuss are searches and new accounts set up since the reports were generated. When I call them they tell me they can only see what's on the original report.
But I have always been able to ascertain whether an account has been settled or not within the last 90 days...and since the original report was generated.0 -
Just to add, I've done the free trial with Experian three times in recent years, the last in Jan 2011 and even used my old log-in details.
I also go through TopCashBack every time. Nice to get paid for something you're going to do anyway.0 -
I rang up to cancel a card today and was informed that there was 'a 0% balance transfer promotion waiting for me on my account'. :rotfl:
Apparently it's fine for me to transfer hubby's balance onto it so question answered :beer:0
