Received Gas bill this morning and the only reason i scrutinised it was because of the high bill(down to the harsh winter of course).
Anyway i also saw that i was charged on the Standard tariff.
The problem here is that i changed(on-line) to Online saver V8 way back at beginning of March for gas and electricity(i am a dual fuel customer).
I spoke to customer services and they confirmed that indeed i was incorrectly billed and she will backdate it.The adviser was very good but i am more than a little miffed that if i hadnt spotted the error then nothing would have changed.
It should not be my responsibility to check on them.Life is difficult enough as it is.
You have been warned.

Just checked mine. I signed up for online saver version 7 in December along with many others to take advantage of quidco and £100 credit into the account.
Guess what they put me on Standard taffif as well.
Got the £100 ok but i wonder how many people they've tricked.
Funny that you couldn't access online account for ages.
Just on phone now they've backdated me and just told me the difference in Electricity account balance it goes from £24.67 in credit to £281.37 in credit.
Many thanks Inforapennyinforapound0 -
Inforapenny - you are dead right. There's a long thread about this issue

Yes,saw that and realised there was an issue with osV7 but wanted to make people aware of osV8 as well.Thanks0 -
I signed up for OSv7 on 30th November, not had the £100 yet. They also have not agreed opening meter reading with previous supplier yet for elec. Even though I supplied it to them! Not impressed so far0
