I've just watched the Wright Stuff on Channel 5 and they did a feature on the best Xmas booze.

The wine expert was raving about this one and apparently you can't tell the difference between this and the best champagne.

I've just had a look on the Tesco website and it's a gold award winner too!

Thanks for that - went and stocked up for Christmas tonight. Plus buy 6 or more bottles and there is 25% off until December 5th ...so 9 bottles cost a bargain £30. Roll on Christmas !! :snow_laug

I have been drinking this stuff for a couple of years and have always got it online when its been on offer. it is the dogs...

My favourite tipple. No headaches afterwards either!

The Tesco Finest Vintage Cava is rather good as well, as is the Cordoniu Teresa, which Tesco seem to have halved the price of as well.

Admittedly I do prefer drinking Cava in it's natural habitat, where Cordoniu and Freixenet cost about £2.50 a bottle!

Guess after getting great reviews on the television the demand has outstripped the supply! There might be some left in your local Tesco though, just means you can't get the extra £15 off or the extra clubcard points.

Off topic, but I've already got my half-price prime rib joint in the freezer for Xmas...from the reduced counter of course!

So, I don't care if there aren't any half price turkey crowns. Can't stand the damn stuff anyway!
