Switching Orange Numbers
Sorry, another thick question.
I just got a new Samsung on Orange PAYG (thanks to Martin's tip - cost £10.01 with £10 credit and free postage).
The idea is to use it to replace my existing Sagem Orange PAYG which is dying but still has £5 credit on it. So, 2/3 questions before I do anything.
1. Can I switch my old Orange number to the new mobile with it's existing £5 credit (presumably by switching sims)?
2. Can I then top up that with the new £10 credit (it's come as a pre-activated pack)?
If not, what's the best plan?
TIA
Nick

You can switch sims if both handsets are on Orange or unlocked.
I think the credit comes with the sim. You can try calling the CS to transfer the credit from the new sim to the old one. Otherwise you are likely to get £7-8 by selling the sim with the credit on ebay.0
