I think you just got someone at the end of their shift, just call back.

When you ring them, get them to reduce your packages to the minimum, then pay the balance off, it should save you some money.

If you cant take the box with you, then you can sell it and make a little dosh.

Make sure your letter of cancellation is sent by recorded mail.

I'd like to thank you all for your help with this - rang the call centre last week, got told it was possible but I'd have to email customer services, so I emailed customer services and didn't hear anything back from them. I decided three weeks chasing was enough, and emailed the CEO - et voila, someone rang me this morning and my contract is being cancelled two months early without any further charges.

    Thanks to all.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver!
Call them and ask for a service call to your home - in Valencia, Spain.

Your card will be killed within minutes.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Since both the box and the card are your property, not Sky's, why don't you just take them with you when you leave? When you return you can then use them to receive the Freesat from Sky channels without requiring a subscription.

The card never belongs to you but is always the property of Sky Subscriber Services.
