If anyone is still waiting for delivery of this barbeque, I would advise ringing them up.

I placed my order on 14th April. A telephone call to ask where it is resulted in being told that there was a system error, and the barbeque has not been ordered. This is despite recieving a confirmation email. So my barbeque is 'Lost in [STRIKE]space [/STRIKE]in the system

This is the first time I have ever placed an order with Sainsbury and it will be the last.

To re-order (When they are back in stock) would cost the full price with delivery. As code & free delivery could not be retrospective.

Really bad customer service from Sainsbury.

Need some help assembling mine, can't wait.

Would anyone be kind enough to confirm what gas I need to use for this?

Sainsburys are hardly going to sell a BBQ that has been recalled & is unsafe...

Please be very careful when purchasing this from Sainsbury, they are marketing an item online which is a gas barbecue, fit to burn lava rock or charcoal. The barbecue they are selling instore is called the same name but is actually a grill, which DOES NOT take coals. We very stupidly, added coals to the in store model, as it comes with no instructions, other than building instructions. After we consulted the online product review, which clearly states it can be used with coals, we proceeded and within 10 seconds flames were licking from underneath the barbecue, the paint was immediataly seen to be peeling from the unit and a dreadful smell was evident ie. the melting paint. What a complete mess !!! We had the common sense at that point to cut off the gas and disconnect, lord only knows what may have happened if we had left unattended for any length of time. I phoned my local store and they are just as confused as everyone else ! Someone at Sainsburys needs to go and do some homework and report back to the online team and between them, advise us accordingly, before there is a serious accident.

All the information for the products come from the manufacturers.

I think that is the whole point, they are being marketed as the same product by Sainsburys, the instructions from the manufacturer are calling the product the same thing, a '2 burner barbecue', they are the same price at Sainsburys but actually they are very different items. I am not an silly individual and very openly admit to being confused completely by Sainsbury's. I don't believe it is fair to have any confusion round a gas product and when the Sainsburys staff are completely unsure whats fact and what to advise, it means trouble and hurt for someone soon.

Propane - if you check on top of the gas regulator, it will be printed there.
    Good luck!
