LG GT400 Vodafone aware of issues and blankly refusing to help!

The LG GT400 I posses has been verified as having a MANUFACTURING ISSUE where using a large capacity storage card (within the limits suggested for size) results in data corrupting. Vodafone have been made aware of this issue but are still selling the phone and refusing all attempts to allow me to change handsets for a fair price.

Not everybody who buys one of these will want to put in a large capacity storage card, so there is no reason for them to withdraw the phone.

If Vodafone's promotional literature confirmed that a card of a particular size could be used, and you have proof that it doesn't and that this facility induced you to buy, then you may have a claim under SOGA.

Is a fix being worked on by LG?

Are you sure it's not just some cards rather than all of the high capacity type?

Most phone don't like the 'budget end of the market' large one, but work perfectly with the more expensive ones.
