Cinema today rant

1. Woman with 18 month old toddler that she just let run around the cinema whilst she watched film

2. Same woman not only reading her blackberry (lovely bright white screen) but answering a call too

3. Same woman stands up in front of screen to cuddle her toddler

4. Same women's other kid had a wireless earpiece (he was about 8) that had a flicking red light every 10 seconds

5. And finally same women watching a 3d film WITHOUT 3d spectacles

I can fully understand points 1-4, I would have been tempted to report her to the usher people, they're pretty good at warning/removing nuisance viewers in my local cinema.

But point No.5? Why would that bother you?

I actually wonder why anyone goes to the cinema anymore due to the complete idiots that abound there now.

I did once threaten to throw a girl's mobile over the balcony! It was well over half the film, and she was nattering on at top volume about her new shoes matching the red of her car......
Takes a lot to wind me up, and ushers weren't around. A couple other people joined in when I asked her nicely to stop, and she left soon after. Plus, we all got refunded the ticket price- the cinema was decent enough about it.

I would have brought it to the staffs attention, ive had teenage girls chucking pop corn at us and just talking through the film, people joining the film late.

It really gets my goat when people fiddle with their mobiles all through a film! I think they must think just because it's not making any noise it's not a problem but the stupid little screen lighting up every two minutes is just as annoying. Why pay to watch a film if what you really want to do is text your mates for 90 minutes?

I don't even bother with the staff. I just go and rant directly at people.

il just add my rant, I went to see Sucker Punch, and the cinema "The Vue" currently offer teens for £2.00 (14-18yrs) now I paid full £7.90 just to have a row of !!!!!!! emo`s in front gabbing and chucking pop corn....so no interest in the film and only a 1/4 of the price!!!! oh and if they pay a fiver they get drink & pop corn!!!

Oh how annoying. I'd have had a word. I once had a word with some lads at the cinema in Portsmouth. They laughed. Then I told the staff, who told off the boys. The boys laughed then got on their mobiles to all their mates saying that there was someone who needed teaching a lesson at the cinema and "bring your sisters"!

I got the staff to ring the police. 30 minutes later, the lights went up, the boys were removed by the police and the whole theatre cheered. That was a great day. (rubbish film though - Hollow Man, wish i'd just left to be honest). I did get a refund though.

People are stupid, if they're stressing you out then you should do something about it, otherwise you just inwardly seethe and nobody changes.
