I've just noticed that my photocard is due to expire shortly. Does anyone know what form I need and how much its going to cost me?

£20 and a form D798. You Should get the form through the post from the DLVA as an automated reminder, that's what happened to me and then I renewed online, but you need to have a passport not more than 5 years old to do that.

thanks, just a shame I cant look at it. Our internet access is limited at work! We are pretty much allowed MSE, Money Supermarket and most bank/credit card provider sites and not much else.

That would be OK as it's under 5 years old, but as you say you want a different picture on it, luckily for me the photo on my passport was one of my better passport photos I've have done over the years. :o

    Not even official government sites?
    Strange policy.

Seems like your employer doesn't want you to do certain things, like renewing driving licence photocards, while at work.

They are websites that we use in the line of our work.

I wasn't intending on renewing the photocard in the office anyway
