Care to point me to any controlled studies that prove it?

Eye movement desensitisation (part of TFT) is advocated by the NHS as an effective treatment for PTSD. I guess they're happy with the research findings. Google it if you're interested.

There's no such thing as "advocated by the NHS", that's typical double-speak. If NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) had a view, I'd be interested. Other than that, the NHS doesn't have a singular voice, and there are a fair few (a) nutters, (b) idiots, and (c) criminals to be found in practice as GPs.

It also ought to be said that there are many, many good and hard-working people in the NHS... but they are becoming fewer and fewer... :(

There have been a few published studies that claim to show TFT is effective in treating PTSD and anxiety, but they've not included controls and have mostly been debunked/withdrawn

I had EFT and Hypnotherapy for my flying phobia, it was incredibly succesful and my Hypnotherapist was great. I highly recommend it.

The great thing about EFT is that you can learn to use it yourself without spending money. If you have serious issues you can pay a good EFT practitioner to get you started & then do the rest yourself.

There is alot of evidence that it works, just do a search online.

I spent £40 to do a days course locally and its paid for itself over & over many times.
I also referred a friend who was having nasty fits, alcohol addiction & depression and in a couple of sessions managed to get back to work and leave the drink alone.

It seems to work for 90% of those that try it & a good practitioner will offer a money back guarantee if it isnt helping

So, like I said, if you are interested in any of these things - look online and find out for free. No need to spend any money.
