American Fridge Freezer. Which one?

Main reason are the internal dimensions and therefore capacity are better than all others. Customer reviews are good and strangely the shambles Samsung had with its fridges 4-5 years ago was also a plus point (I reasoned they couldn't screw up twice and maintain credibility in this sector so I am hoping they are sightly over engineering their products).

Where did you get it for that price? The cheapest I can find is £1064

We have a real american (GE) one we bought about 16 years ago when we were living abroad. Shipped it back here and it's still working. Love it - new kitchen had to be designed around it though because they are so big and as already said, they do need a water supply as well as electricity.
Children do seem to love the ice dispenser!

Appliance City on a multibuy deal (bought a LG washing machine too), I wanted the older model RSG5DUMH but that wasn't available so they offered me this at the same price.

We have a Daewoo one, without the ice maker - we could not see the need for wasting the space when we would only use ice a few times of the year.
IMO the freezer is too small, the fridge too big.
