Mine have been in the ground for 9 weeks now and have almost finished flowering. There are some good jacket size spuds in there.
Can I leave them in the ground after they have died back? still working my way through new potatoes.

They should be fine to leave in the ground for at least 8 weeks

I had a preliminary furtle in one of my bags earlier - couldn't find a single one! Let's hope the ones in the ground are making more of an effort. :(
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

All of mine are in the ground, and if I remember rightly you received yours a few weeks after me so plenty of time yet.
I was hoping they wouldn't be ready till august but as they can sit in the ground that will do me :)

I had a look at those in the ground today. Nothing. Zilch. Zip. Nada. :(
