Well obviously if you're regularly late your (or rather the Ltd Company's) credit file will be tarnished - exactly as with credit cards if you're more than a couple of weeks late it's reported to the CRAs!

Just the same as a credit card mate, just the same.

The Ltd company never has problems. It's pretty normal for companies to pay invoices 30 days or so after invoice date, even if the terms are shorter than this. I think the state of your filed accounts are more significant.

When I had a mobile contract in my own name, I always paid after the date they wanted payment by, usually a month or so after the bill was generated. (Often paid a couple of bills at a time after returning to the UK after trips.) Didn't seem to stop me getting credit.

I'm not convinced that paying a phone bill late is seen as serious as paying a credit card late.

Don't bother with phone contracts, They're a waste of money, I regret taking one out because I'm tied to it for 24 months (phones obviously become outdated after lets say 6 months) and the amount of Pay as you go deals that completely trump any phone contract makes having a contract worthless really.

So, Save yourself some pounds and get a pay as you go phone for now !

Or get a T-Mobile SIM only deal for £6 per month - Which should help improve your credit score as a check is done prior to approval [Its also widely reported SIM only deals from T-Mobile have a very high acceptance rate due to the low risk].
