    Don't fall into the trap of thinking Mcdonalds is a sure fire money spinner.

    I know someone who was ruined with this franchise, he was going great guns for 4 years making a £200k profit for himself and then the franchisor hit him with a compulsory 160k restaurant re-fit bill that he had to fork out himself.

    So he actually made less than his staff each year but didn't realise until it was too late.
