Nationwide Members ISA notice period waived

I asked Nationwide to transfer my Members ISA to Alliance and Leicester on the 15 Feb and the paperwork has been sent 23 Feb.

There is a 60 day notice on this account so I phoned Nationwide to find out why the transfer had been so quick. They said in busy periods the transfer can take up to 60 days anyway so they waive the notice period on this account (no penalty).

Well done Nationwide.

Phoned my branch and then phone head office contact centre. Both confirmed 60 day notice period still applies.

If they aren't busy in March when will they be busy?
