I actually didn't mean the seller needed protection against a thief or liar, my concern was that stuff goes missing every day in transit with Royal mail and tickets are not covered standard mail so the seller had no insurance against loss.whatyadoinsucka wrote: »Good news, got the four tickets today. now to sell the two spare and get my 2 tickets i needed free..
I've warned the seller that he really should not post tickets with a first class stamp only, an unscrupolous ebayer bidder could claim non receipt and get a full refund.. and nothing the seller could do about it. :money:
Being honest I've emailed him and left good feedback
I don't bother with any sort fo trackign if my item is normally covered against loss en route and wouldn't epcet any normal seller to bother otherwise. However, certain categories of things, and items over £46 MUST go special.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Standard mail, and that includes recorded, is covered up to £46 for loss except for some items like tickets.
So for items over that it must go special delivery or via a courier, your suggestion of using recorded for higher value goods is incorrect and I assume it is a typo and you mean special delivery.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
