I am collecting all the scrappy bits of paper that the printer at work chucks out that no one uses and taking them home for my DD. At this rate it will save me a fortune :)

    Hi everyone,
This is me just in on my split break. Have had a manic morning, the office kept giving me extra calls to squeeze in which is good news in that i get paid for call time only but also meant i missed my breakfast break so was blooming hungry when i got in at 2 (started at 6.30am!). I`m not back out till 5 so heres my list:

Washing on, will dry on airer.
    Lunch/breakfast! had from stores.
Ebay parcel posted (another bit of clutter out of my way). :D
    Walk dogs.
Might look at some college work. :(
Might have a nap instead of college work! :)
Tea later will be something from freezer!

Hope everyone has a good day!

  • hello peeps :hello: sorry to hear that so many of us are struggling at the moment - maybe its something in the air? I have so many I want to reply to personally today! So here goes...

Amara thanks for starting us off

DebtfreeBY40 - if you're feeling down then give yourself plenty of love & kindness. U'll get there

Candy - wow to a massive 16K reduction in debt that really is fantastic!

WW sorry I didn't respond to you at the weekend re your oh - had some stuff going on myself...- but someone who is a counsellor said to me re depression & hiding it from ppl that the truth rarely works against you & that things get easier when you own it. We were talking about work & when I'm depressed & my manager has said I need to tell her to which I was saying  but the woman was saying if you are honest ppl support you and make things easier - its just a thought.... I was talking to my oh & he was saying yes its really hard being the partner of someone who suffers from depression...

    Today:
    • checked banking & took money I spent out on bunk beds out of student money
    • I will work out some payments to cc (money that oh has given me for things - makes it easier to just pay it straight away!) & pay them
    • I have frozen 3 x meals of spag, 3 x of chilli & put mince for shepperds pie in the fridge for tomorrow (batch cooked mince thingyjiggy last night)
    • I will chop & freeze some gammon that needs to be used today
    • I found a tenner
    • called & arranged a viewing for Sunday
    • check for surveys
    • contact ebayer who purchased my old SC for 99p! :rotfl:& arrange for them to collect
    • contact AA savings as I have locked my account & need to transfer some funds
    • call first direct re regular savings account
    • check job sites
    ok that's quite a list! x

    evening

running on quickly whilst i have snuck into work after hours to use the computer - on holiday this week so shouldnt be in here but have been very good. read emails but not replied to any :)

Last couple of holiday days been productive garden wise, lots of weeding, digging and seed planting. I never know when to give up, trying tomatos again for the third year running even though I NEVER get to the fruit stage with them.

whilst here am charging ipod and phone

heading to S'berrys to return a top dd bought and doesnt like on - dont have a receipt though so hoping they take it back ok

using bus pass to get around

had the most lovely afternoon with friend for a coffee using starbucks card (free syrup)

    thats all.

Thinking of you and maybe nip back on at the weekend! x

oh and ps. sad news. THink my dog has lost all her puppies :(

She has been very unwell over the weekend and in taking her to the vet on Mon, they questioned whether she was pregnant and mentioned re-absorption. That might be the cause of throwing her off kilter. Think she is going in for a scan on Monday once her insides have calmed down a bit.

V sad and v expensive lesson but ah well, its the risk you take

Sorry to hear about your dog, angelflower :(

    Big hugs everyone else :grouphug:

I'm doing really badly this week and working loads :( Then today I met my friend who's just split up with her hubby so I bought her a wine (as well as one for me) and then had to buy lunch because I was running late and then it just went on and on...

Work is awful but will be over soon and hope to take an afternoon off in flex with the extra hours I've been working :)

Went to the chiropractor last night - about £200 to 'fix' me :) but also

    Shattered me - night all!

    xx
