13th of April; What small DWF things will you do today ?:)

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :D

I've started today's thread.
I had:
-checked my online banking
-my Ebay
-my emails
I will:
-go to my two customers
-pay my cc
-hoover
-wash windows upstairs
-give more advert for my business
-list more ebay items; need to reinvest £5 I've earned for my 12 weeks Ebay challenge :)
-do my running workout
See you soon!

  • Thanks for starting the thread, have a good day.

    Today I will

Check banking - done, all as expected, reviewed currently outstanding debt and have paid off just over 4,000 since I started focussing at New Year.
Check eBay - lots of watchers and one item going strong
Go to gym rather than Tesco!
Eat tea out of freezer rather than Tesco!

Struggling a bit at the moment with focus, think its because I'm a bit down but by the same token I think by focussing I shall become a bit more positive. :-(

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning everyone! Thanks for starting us off Amara :T

Its looking like a particularly miserable day here today :( no sign of sun at all, so looks like washing will be airing inside.... I'm at work most of the day today so no chance to catch up on the jobs I didn't get round to doing yesterday. They'll wait til tomorrow when I'm off again! So a small list for me today:

    Turned heating off
    checked internet banking
one lot of washing just finished
will try and get at least one more load done before work

Need to deliver ebay item tonight, luckily only down the road from DS Grandad's house :D saves on diesel!

That's it for me today, hope you all have a great day :D :T

Also, today is a NSD (Although I only have about 50p in the bank anyway)
    And will tackle some surveys

I always try and think about it from the buyers point of view, ie. describe them as if you were buying them yourself. Obviously size, colour, good points/any faults and make it sound interesting :D
