Hi
I've been using Freedom to Surf as my internet provider (home use only) since 2003 and have been very happy with them. Then I started getting letters every few months telling me they were changing to Tiscalli, then Opal and now Talk Talk Business
I'm getting loads of calls from Talk Talk and feel like I'm being harrased to change to them for my broadband. ( I already have my line rental with them and their Anytime plan as I call Canada a lot and its free on my plan as wel as all my local and 0845, 0870 numbers)
Anyways, its £10 cheaper per month if I switch to Talk Talk but I've read so many bad reviews and experences from people who use Talk Talk for their broadband. At the moment I rarely lose my connection and I'm happy with my speed etc. I pay £15 pm for my broadband. (max speed, unlimited usage)
I'm a bit clueless when it comes to technology and I decided to ring Talk TAlk Business to ask their opinion and they told me that being a TT Business customer I get a much better connection and a priority connection over the 'standard' Talk Talk customer in my region but ultimately its up to me if I want to change.
ANy opinions or advice on this?
Thanks in advance

I was in the same position as you. I've continued to be with talk talk business, and have been relatively happy with the service, but now I have decided to join talk talk (resedential), Just to save money and to stop the annoying calls!
Will be going live tomorrow.
Good bye old f2s login!
Also will now be on 50:1 contention ratios, unlike the faster 20:10 -
I am sticking with TT business as since F2S its been a good service .
Though lost internet today for the first time but it looks to be an exchange problem as the sync has nearly doubled .
Dont want to move as am on a very cheap deal with no cap due to a couple of can i have my MAC calls to F2S where i was offered a deal .

I was with talktalk for phone only but was persuaded to go with them for my broadband but it was one of the worst decision I have ever made. It has been nothing but problems -a much slower speed and continually disconnecting. I went from dial up to broadband originally (orange) so that it would not continually disconnect and am missing out on income because of their lousy service. I was told when I joined (only after having repeated telephone calls trying to persuade me) that I could easily cancel within the first thirty days. What they did not tell me was that I could not go back on to my original package for phone or to my original broadband service with orange. Whilst I was told that I would save money, by the time all the extras were added on I was paying much more for a rubbish service. I am now having to have another line put in to be able to get back to normal.0

You don't need a new line, you can just do a 'return to donor' to go back on to the T network, assuming that TT have LLU'd your line.
This is free, but requires a 12m line rental contract with BT.
Once that's done, you can place your broadband with your preferred ISP.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
