When our kids were younger they used to go around the arcade and look for fallen money in the bottom, and if they had some 2p's they would look for an item eg a keyring that was touching the glass. One would stand guard and the other would fetch the attendant to get the item out!! All their friends gifts were done this way.
Drinks were always taken in via my handbag, we would 'eat out' bu buying a large portion of chips and take our own bread and butter and make chip butties. Icecreams were a multipack from the supermarket near a beach, eg spar. It took some deciding but eventually we all managed to get a lolly for the price of just 1 from the icecream van. If there were any spare the girls woul offer them to the nex little person about to go in the shop.

It makes me smile at the things we did when we didnt have money and the girls were growning up. They still do the 2p thing and they are 20 and 16now!!!

Can I ask a quick question as the brochure is a bit unclear?

If you stay in a standard van are you allowed to take your own linen or is it compulsory to hire it?

    Many Thanks!

we went to Cleethorpes a few weeks back, it was FANTASTIC! They give you pillows and duvets, so just take your own covers, saves you £20 odd quid or so. I took my own.

I also took some fan heaters as the bedrooms were a little cold on an evening.

Poundland do the glow sticks and some wand and devil type ones, I took a few of these and they were happy.

Its the activites we got stung on, the bungy things and water walkers etc. £5 a go, I tried to avoid the park during thr day, and spent loads of time at the beach ............its free after all!

Dont worry, you will have a great time!
