We ( hubby & me) stayed at a haven a few years ago & found bingo very expensive so avoid at all costs it was more costly than gala it was about £20 odd quid for 1 lot of tickets..never again0

Just got back from Marton Mere, Blackpool. I can recommend the Clifton arms nearby for a meal - good pub grub at reasonable prices. Tesco is 5 minutes away.
Can't comment on the caravans there as we were in the touring area in our own caravan. Very clean loos and washing up area which is vv important to me!
Bar prices on site were not too bad - bit more expensive than standard pub prices but not by a lot.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 027

Gonna be really cheeky and ask what childrens drinks do they sell in the bars, then I can take my own from tesco.
Last time we went they sold capri sun so I bought some before I went and took them in my handbag:beer:0 -

Every Haven i've been to over the last few years sell cartons of five alive for kids so i would imagine this would be the same.0 -
Ditto what everybody else has said - you'll have a great holiday. I actually took my kids on several holidays where they didn't have glowsticks at all and we still had a good time

Hi we are having our first ever holiday in July to Haven at Cala Gran (Blackpool) we have just taken a massive dip in tax credits so we dont have the budget we normally would. Really glad Ive stumbled across this thread, will be following the tips given!
One benefit we have is that my mum lives in Liverpool so we can go through to hers for the day and raid her fridge!!lol. One problem we have is that the older children are desperate to go to the Pleasure Beach, but at £142 for all 6 of us to get in I dont think we can afford it :-(Ideas,help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!:happyhearMarrying my Mr Perfect 2013
