phone unlock code for samsung

Hi,

this is my second post in tow years so hope it's in the right place :)
after £20 debit, 10 phone calls, 15 emails and a 3 week wait (which 'could' become a 6 week wait) I got fed up waiting for an unlock code from Vodafone. With some fear, I paid £15 to Fonefunshop in Sheffield (by paypal-I live in Slough) 2 hours later I had the code, typed it into my phone and now it's unlocked. :jand I can use my lovely new phone. I posted my solution on the Vodafone support forum (I had opened a thread there and the eforum team were also 'trying to resolve this matter') Guess what? my whole thread has been deleted from the Vod forum!! Vod have offered me a refund but it will take '5-9 working days to reach your bank'- funny, it came out of my bank instantly!!

As it's quite scary paying money on the internet for an unlocking code, I wanted to share my positive experience to help others.

    Thanks for posting that you have now managed to get your handset unlocked, and it’s good to see that your online experience certainly helped you out.

    When we request a Network Unlock Code for handsets, we do rely on the manufacturers to provide these to us before we can pass them on to the customer, and the time taken to provide the code can vary dependant on the manufacturer.

    If you experience any difficulty with the refund, please let us know by contacting us here, using WRT135 as the subject, and we can help chase this up for you.
