Hey all,
Off to the Gadget Show Live 2011 tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone might know if you were allowed to take your own food in with you?
I know last time I went they checked bags on the way in but I cant remember if they allowed food and I want to save a few quid by not paying through the roof for a sandwich while I'm there!
Thanks!

I'm going to this event tomorrow too and wouldn't mind knowing, but it doesn't state anything on the websites that Ive seen, so I think we can take our own food in?0

Don't see why you can't take it in - though finding somewhere to eat it may be a problem. There's not much seating except in the food outlet areas0

Hi, I have been to a number of hobby shows and I take my own food and drink. There are places there to eat but seating is at a premium. Lots of people sit on the floor or go out of the hall into the foyer where there are a few seats and eat their own food there. I've also gone out of the hall to a coffee bar bought a drink and ate my sandwich which didn't seem to have been a problem.
It is a good idea to take your own as costs for food are high, however if you are looking to have a drink or a snack plan for an early or late stop.
Hope that helps.0 -
