 she has stated she wants some different food this week instead of meals I have put together using DTD ingredients.
I mean how can she be complaining about lamb racks with nice goose fat roast spuds washed down with a glasss or 2 of WB and magnums for dessert.
Of course she is also looking so much younger with all the anti age creams she has now.. Although we did have a minor argument at the in laws today over why I was getting her anti wrinkle age creams!!!
give her a pot noodle she'll soon stop complaining lol:rotfl:0 -
Hi guys, just checking for tomorrows shop and the Wolf Blass red is reduced at tesco to £5 but the chardonay is still £9.490

Lets get back on track. The purpose here is to take advantage of an offer thought up by marketing at Tesco. The longer this runs the better for us all. Tesco will not lose money or sleep over this as shopping for most is not something akin to work but a brief and profunctory journey.
As for certain stores saying they will not accept vouchers and making people feel embarressed or uncomfortable this is not acceptable. However, stand up for yourselves and lose a little of that "Britishness".
Q.)"Why have you only bought 2 bottles of Wolf Blass and handed me this voucher for £17 sir. This seems odd?"
A.)"People working at a much higher level in your organisation have decided that Tesco will run a promotion. This is currently in force. If you are unsure of how to process this voucher please call your manager immediately. If your manager cannot help I have the Snr Customer Service Team Phone Number here on my mobile. Would you like me to call them for you now. Also would you like me to tell everyone in this store (I do mean everyone) that you are personally taking the decision to stop a promotion funded centrally. If so I will also explain to everyone in this store that Tesco have the audacity to charge in excess of £15 more for single Items (eg Champagne A = £12. SAME Campagne T = £29.99). Furthermore dear employee, I have spent in excess of £35k with Tesco in the last 20 years, I'm due a little back - I remember when you were Hillards. Sign my receipt and vex me no further. Good Day."
This works for me.
In the meantime - be nice to Tesco, and hope Tesco is nice to us. Lets not make this another Hoover Marketing Disaster type thingy.
And one last thing, remember, if you don't need it - don't buy it (Magnum Classic Icecreams excepted!)0 -

Most supermarkets tend to do weekly price changes on a Sunday night.
I have noticed a lot of Tesco 'offers' finish on the 19th and 26th April....
Tuesday could be a very good day... have got my eye on a feew items going up in price on Tuesday..ripe for DTDing!!!0 -

I hope it's not the rack of lamb - I have just moved onto the meat section and could do with a bit more before any price changes on itDTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
Evening, everyone. Hope you all had a successful DTDing day.
Whilst we’re waiting for vouchers and price changes, what are your thoughts on the best Shopping Strategy? Any tips from the more experienced DTDers for the novices?
I’ve tried to maximise DTD for every voucher, though have sometimes failed, but am learning every day, luckily we can have ten attempts monthly. Not ashamed to admit that I bought 2 x Betty’s twice before I clicked about only buying one at a time!
Disappointed about the Bettys and tomorrow’s lamb reduction, hope there’s something exciting round the corner for us.

Was just in time today to get two more DTD shops in before closing time. Got some WB wine and cereals. Gave SA voucher. She said what is that. I was about to explain and then she ranted on that she should know as her Mum was doing shopping everyday and gets her money back after every shop. Uses her Tesco card with 10% discount and still gets her money back. You can only use 10 vouchers, but if you change email account can use more a month. Wow I'm really glad I met this SA as I will surely look her up again next time I am in the shop. Have been doing lots of DTD shops now, but sofar have had no trouble at all here in the south.
The voucher was the first she ever got so I told here she will get another one any minute now as she started to bleep my second shop.
Well done SA wish everyones Mother was like yours. Looking forward to tomorrow.0
