    You just reminded me, due to go to Pwllheli next Monday and thought I'd check where my nearest Tesco was to where I was staying.

    21 MILES :eek::eek::eek:

    How on earth am I going to cope?

    All the Tesco's are ok here..... Porthmadog is not that far from Pwllheli.... about 15 miles then theres Caernarfon 20 miles and the Tesco extra at Bangor...25 miles only the Bangor one has the Lamb racks of course......no pinching my Wolf Bass!!!!!! I don't think theres many of us down here......have a nice holiday xxxx

    5 days in Wales? Bring wellies, umbrellas and something/someone to do indoors!

    Hope you have a great time.

    Oooh, does this mean you will be DTDing in tesco Caernarfon?! I go there a few times a week :D

    If you do decide to go to tesco caernarfon, make sure you have a good list of alternatives as it's not a very big tesco and they don't have everything a dtder might want. Are you on holiday in Pwllheli? :)

    Yes, I booked a break in Hafan Y Mor for me, oh, mil and 4 dd's and then he got pulled away to do Stand-In training for the prison officer strike (Army don't care what you have booked or planned) so as I've only got a smallish car it's me and 4 kids.... woo hoo I can't wait :(

    I'll tell the girls we're off to the castle and make a detour :rotfl:

    To all those who are embarrased to use these vouchers thinking it is somehow morally wrong.

    Tesco as a company and probably most of it's directors and large shareholders will all employ Accountants who will try their best to find any legal loophole to help their clients avoid tax. These savings are likely to run into some vast numbers.

    What we are doing here is just the same, but for once the little man is able to take advantage of a loophole. Feel no guilt or shame, enjoy the DTD while it lasts and congratulate yourself for your shrewdness.

    I buy the profit items(only the ones I need/will use) just to even the ones I have to pay for a little... or just get some everyday items I'd buy anyway(milk,bread) for the profit...

    stocking up on thinks that get used a lot(suft, comfort, shower gel, toothpaste, etc) and buy food I normally wouldn't as it's too expensive(lamb, salmon, beef, pork, pizza, etc)... I have a quite nice stash now and managed to reduce my weekly food bill by 70%:eek:

    one just has to love tesco :beer:
    Thanks, some good tips there. If only there were more hours in the day, or uncapped vouchers again!

    Thanks.
