  • I've got the Dtd's,
But its not what you think...
Its more about the purchasing, than the consuming of drink,
I can't sleep at night, things running through my head
How much betty crocker, should I buy the bread?
My husband thinks I'm crazy, my kids think I'm mad,
But this is the best shopping that I've ever had! xx

CAn I say I love you ladies and gents.

I've done one tesco shop and got a £13.54 voucher back, I was a little worried about spending reading some of the responses on here, but I have to say I just had the three most charming sales assistants.

OH was very confused the whole way round Tesco, as he's used to me going for "bargains" or "best price" tonight I had two list I had already worked out. One trolley both split, several items not available, so thankfully I have downloaded the spreadsheet and trimmed it all up to just what I would buy, so out of my handbag that came.

OH said lets go through self checkout so I did, one till split shops. Put first time through including the beef (very excited I found it!) used my voucher and cost £6.72 - me the big spender!! On rough work out that should be just short of £20 back on that shop - I scanned the voucher and the first lady came over, second one called over, said she'd had difficulties putting one through the other day, gave it a go, and she was so apologetic, explained that she would have to finish the shop on the self service till and take me and the voucher to the customer service, I was all thank yous and smiles (worried it was going to go wrong) next lady at the customer service was really jolly said it was a good voucher, was it from my normal weekly shop - I smiled and agreed - she said "oooh I must tried my receipt when I get home, although with my discount.." I stopped her and said "oooh you'd be surprised!!"

Left OH putting the second shop through the till!! That looks like it will have a nice come back too!!

Can't wait for my vouchers tomorrow!! Fingers crossed

    Thanks everyone

  • I hope all those who are admitting to making up email addresses in order to fraudulently obtain goods to which they are clearly not entitled are not posting from their home. If you are posting from your home you are NOT anonymous just because you made up a user name and used an email address which can't be linked to you when you registered for the MSE site. If Tesco decided to take action (i.e. pursue someone for fraud) after your written "confession", and you made the posting from your home, then all the police would have to do is make 2 phone calls - 1 to the MSE site to get the IP address of the poster and then 1 to the poster's ISP to find out who was using that IP address at the time the "confession" was made. You would then be "outed", full name and address etc.

The poster that said they had made up a new email address every day and did 5 shops/day to obtain 5 vouchers/day is the sort of thing I'm talking about. Very careless talk.

    Be Wise!!

What a load of old twaddle! :rotfl::rotfl:

Ive honestly not had any emails past week or so ive done 3 shops used 2 different emails all within the limit but had no emails of tesco at all, i had to imput details back in to recieve voucher?

If anybody questioned me id be lost:eek:
i dont know which voucher goes with each email and cant check as no email there to compare with

If I got questioned I wouldnt be able to tell them the address I used, I've got disposable email addresses c/o spam gourmet. I've had this set up for ages and is a great way to have confidence handing out your email address to avoid spam. If I get questioned about different email addresses I will just explain it's a valid reason.
