also can confirm that dtdsearcher likes to return things and has many as she calls it goodwill gesture vouchers given to her in store

I feel I'm being stalked, lol

Yes, I was given a 'goodwill voucher' once - ironicalluy for complaining to HO when a voucher wasn't accepted.

Only things I have taken back are when I have returned ALL the items I have purchased and have then used the 'refund' to buy the correct items and insert that receipt number.

im sorry but who are you to tell me what to do...people are now scared because of what dtdsearcher has said happened to her today,as a result many will now have a disturbed sleep,i have an open mind weather to believe it or not,i just dont understand why she wont say the area or store it happened,so some peoples minds can be put at rest,im trying to be the nice one here not stiring up trouble,so please dont try to tell me what to do as if you think im some sort of trouble maker

I didn't say you were a troublemaker but that sort of post isn't helping the situation at all. If you'll notice as well, my post was a lot more polite than your reply just was.

Fair bit of pack mentality on here tonight
  • Agree with yarmouthgirls here - the OP had been generous with lots of information other than revealing the store or county when all went silent. I wanted to know which store or area it was to ensure I didn't encounter a similiar issue or if I did, I was forewarned on an alibi. The nature of a public forum is that some people will want to know the information, some won't.

If you didn't want to know this crucial bit of information, you could just skim on past it surely? But I, for one had the same thoughts as yarmouthgirls and wanted to know as many others probably did.

Sorry haven't read every single post on the subject but I can confirm that Tesco will and do have photos taken by the CCTV of people known to bend the rules so to speak...they have pictures for the security guards too and Tesco managers will send them to other local stores to ensure you cannot do the same there.

They do have the right as do all shops to stop you entering should they decide to.

There is a difference though with just providing the store information, which Yarmouthgirls first did, and then going on to post other things. The store info was useful, the other post wasn't.

Oh you must have been so scared Where was the head office based?

I don't actually go to head office I spoke to them on the phone in the back office. As soon as they picked up the contradiction from the vouchers issued to email address 2 I knew they knew something and didn't want to cause a scene with any security etc.
