Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 4

As someone who has only had the courage to trot off to do three DTD specific shops so far, I'd say that was not only risky but risking bringing the whole thing down.
I was answering a post from Asgards here regarding an attempt to amas gift coupons - th thread moves rather too fast for me0 -
Quite a few things about that that 'scary' story don't add up at all.
Frankly, I don't believe it.
Just sayin'0 -
thanks i have checked there not sure if i am looking at the right one though
FYI you can search for an item by pressing ctrl+F and typing the word in the box that pops up. So if you typed easter or eggs you'd find everything with easter or eggs in the name (not neccessarily easter eggs though!)0 -
Right i have a plan , i think tesco are a bit inconsiderate anyways because i have no room left in my freezer for magnums . My wine rack is filling with wolfbass and one of my shelves is bursting with muller rices... So to combat this problem i need a new fridge freezer .
Heres were the plan kicks in ( should i be sharing this with you !? ) Seen as you cant buy gift cards with your dtd vouchers i need to construct shops with little cash spend to max voucher return ie 20 quid dtd voucher.
Then i can return this shoipping the next day and becasue i purchased with a dtd voucher theyll refund a gift card .
Repeat this enough times and purchase a shiny new frdge freezer to solve my problems with around a 100 quid cash outlay ...
What you reckon ( is that going too far!, will Mr T's Be Annoyed , Probably )
:rotfl:
Moral of the story :
If you gonna get stopped and taken into an office , make it worthwhile
Lol! I tend to agree - in principle at least if not in practice -with the last statement - in for a penny...0 -

If they were all for £20 I suspect that the issue wouldn't have arose.
Thanks for your reply. I'm relieved that's the case. I'd hate to think they'd been able to fully trace the vouchers. I'm just sorry that you had to go through this terrible ordeal in order to share this with us. Hopefully next week will bring lots of nice price drops in A so your OH can buy lovely things to make up for it.
It's only a game

I'm trying to trace the email address history of my last lot of vouchers now... They are all so jumbled up though! I think the safest way is for every email address to stick within the £100 a month guidelines and keep in the spirit of how Tesco intended it.
It's not like any of us would have more than one email address anyway... would we...?0 -
Time for 'spot the Tesco stooge', methinks.:cool::cool::cool::cool:0

ah well my vouchers still aint been emailed and still processing and I have clicked on it back and go a million times on the tesco pricecheck so will just have to start again next week.. worst part is I never got to £100 total *sigh*
It does say it can take up to 36 hours.
I've had to wait 48 hours once.
Just be patient! My daughters are my world0 -
I think I might be going blind because I'm sure I saw slimfast on the S/S!:o
But am going to add it in red so as one of the editors can check, I have bought it everyday in readyness for my diet, when DTD stops:)
SLIMFAST ALL FLAVOURS T's £1.59 A's £1 Confirmed 15/04
Apologies if it's on there and I can't see it,:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
I'm still waiting for a voucher from Tuesday 12th April - have tried the tip of resubmitting the details over and over but still no luck! Hope it turns up tomorrow!
Managed to mess up one of my shops today - for some reason the Smirnoff 1 litre vodka went through the till at £18.00 and not £20.49 (which was still on the SEL) so had to run and get something else as I had a £20 voucher and in my confusion I picked up something which I think has no DTD or if I am very lucky will come back N/A, so will only get £10 DTD back. Never mind - I have bought the vodka as a present for my sister-in-law as a thank you for all her help to me this past year. I know she will love it as she can only afford the Tesco cheapest vodka if she ever buys it herself so it will be a lovely treat for her.
Has anyone else had the vodka go through at £18?
Also, apologies that I am not a very frequent poster on here because by the time I get round to getting stuff all the items are already tried and tested DTD items. I do very much appreciate all the hard work that goes into the spreadsheet - it has been a godsend to me and I have only been doing this for about 3 weeks now. It has really boosted my spirits and put a smile on my face - in fact I can't help grinning from ear to ear when I walk out of Tescos with a bag of DTD stuff! Long may it continue!0
