dtd searcher I am sorry to hear your tale, I hope that your little one was not too upset about what was going on.
You clearly have some skills and time available to you, as a suggestion perhaps you could get in touch with a local hostel or homeless shelter, maybe even contact a local sheltered housing for elderly offer them your services to enable other households to participate fully.
I am not here to preach right or wrong on what has ocoured.
Just looking for a way you can put your newly acquired skills to use.
regardsClearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.
I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0 -
Right i have a plan , i think tesco are a bit inconsiderate anyways because i have no room left in my freezer for magnums . My wine rack is filling with wolfbass and one of my shelves is bursting with muller rices... So to combat this problem i need a new fridge freezer .
Heres were the plan kicks in ( should i be sharing this with you !? ) Seen as you cant buy gift cards with your dtd vouchers i need to construct shops with little cash spend to max voucher return ie 20 quid dtd voucher.
Then i can return this shoipping the next day and becasue i purchased with a dtd voucher theyll refund a gift card .
Repeat this enough times and purchase a shiny new frdge freezer to solve my problems with around a 100 quid cash outlay ...
What you reckon ( is that going too far!, will Mr T's Be Annoyed , Probably )

I'm just wondering if they are actually following the specific voucher (most scarey scenario) or rather that you used a (for example) £16.73 voucher and had only ever received £17.xx and £18.xx vouchers to the particular email account?
My vouchers these days are all £20 so I'm not sure that they can distinguish between £20 on any email account if you see what i mean??
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
If they are all for £20 exactly it wouldn't have been flagged, but the supervisor told them that a 'coupon' for £16 had been used on the last shop, and all the vouchers on my n'new email address' were for more than that so he knew that the £16 wasn't from that address. If they were all for £20 I suspect that the issue wouldn't have arose.0 -
:(I have had a problem with my first and third vouchers - I have only used the scheme three times and find the shop staff automatically assume that you are "the one" that is doing the multiple visits.
I was mistaken for a person who has been overusing the scheme and was refused my very first voucher. I tried again and was ok and now having tried a third time today was refused and told that I had gone over my limit.. no way but they wouldn't budge am getting a bit fed up and suggested that they check the cctv and they said they had done and I was in the store when someone used two vouchers in a row - it wasn't me but oh why are people ruining the scheme for the rest of us:(0 -
Hopefully by the time I have caught up someone will be able to answer:
Has anyone used the £5 MOC from todays Sun newspaper against the 56 wash Finish D/W tablets or is it not valid for that type?
Thanks0 -

If I'm on the right tracks, I think what they are saying is that there more than one chain of vouchers, so if there'd been a £10 that had been used, which generated a £12, which generated a £10 all on the same email, that's ok. BUT the issue is, the chain is mixed up with another chain.
Maybe I've just made that more confusing - but DTD'ers tip is bob on - keep the email/voucher chain together.Determined to be a thrifty Mama!0 -
If I was a normal shopper and didn't really know about dtd I would easily use diffrent email address without realising I was 'trying to get aroung the £100 month rule'
At the weekend I buy my shopping, go home, input my receipt with my home email and get a voucher
On monday on way to work I stop off at Tesco to buy some bits and pieces and use the voucher to pay, arrive at work and think I'll put this receipt into tescopricecheck and as I'm at work I'll just use my work email address.
So quite genuinely the emails don't tie up.
Yep, did exactly that today because I was in Uni so used that address instead of home one and I'm no where near £100 - I don't think0 -
