All this talk of it being stopped or posters being taken down is just ridiculous and it's scaremongering in my opinion.

If and when it does stop I think the price check site will be no more......as it stands the site is still there! And it states the following
We’ll check the price of your comparable grocery shopping versus ASDA and then send you an email when we have your results. Of course we’re confident you will find your shopping cheaper at Tesco, but if not, we’ll refund double the difference.

Unless it comes from an official source I would ignore! :)

IT teacher to the rescue lol! Your IP address will stay the same when connecting to the internet on one computer another computer connecting to the same internet connection should have a different IP address. Turing the router off wont change this.

It will if you dont have a static ip.

Cookie traces are far more likely than the IP address as IP is far more invasive.
    thanks for that

    Hey guys, new here!

Have been doing this the last few days after my bosses husband told me about it.

Stocked up on a lot of salmon!

Do you get any reactions by the person serving you at the checkout? Last time I handed over my £15ish receipt and my £19ish voucher, and the woman called the line manager and she was really nervous serving me. Granted it does look 'fishy' when you have a receipt with just salmon on it, and then a double the difference with £5 for free..

I got some sun cream today, ready for my holiday in the summer. Don't think ill find anywhere cheaper than 2p / 5p so thought I mayaswell buy now!

Good work you guys are doing :)

    Anybody had vouchers yet?

Second, can you imagine the egg on the faces of Tesco if they cancel this promotion? They would have spent £millions on marketing for ASDA's benefit.

When this is all over we need to finish the thread by posting our results, I know I won't be the winner, but want to share the happiness.

Some peoples stocks of stuff are massive and I am just glad I'm not having to stock up on nappies (where would you store them!).

I'm happy with my wine hoard (plus all the other stuff).

I can't do a list of what I have as some receipts were kept by SA's and I've chucked the rest as some weren't signed. but I do have a running total of the cost of the goods both at Tesco and at Asda, now THAT makes interesting reading.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
