Had root canal work done last year and it was actually surprisingly painless. Yes, you have some swelling after each visit, but that's mainly due to the injection......when I started to feel pain, post dentist, just after the numbness wore off, I took 2 ibuprofen and by the time they wore off the pain had gone anyway..........happy days!

Ibuprofen, takes the swelling down and kills the pain ;)

Thanks, unfortunately the nerves inflamed so didn't take the injection in and so she was working on a raw nerve ouch! vouchers would make it feel so much better though lol!

Dont know if this helps anyone (or for spreadsheet update) but I bought Iced Gems (a lunchbox fave for my DD) on the 13th

and yesterday afternoon (only just checked my e mails!) it came up:

    2 x JACOBS ICED GEMS 6 X 25G £ 3.08 £ 3.10

    so no DTD for me.

Am taking my OH to Mr T later on - but I checked this morning & there is plenty of the correct Wolf Blass so he should be ok on his own, bless him :D

Please God for once let him listen to me when I give him his instructions :rotfl:

depends how many you plan on doing....

if your sticking to the £100(including your neighbour if hes using yours) per month then would be ok

if you plan on doing some for freinds and family in other households  then i would stop using it..
  • oh oh folks, i used my first voucher from bacardi purchase (tue) for 2 bottles of wolf blass (wed) i went in last night and had a DTD shop at the checkout (no alcohol this time) when the girl went 'oooohhhh we cant take them' Further discussion over with duty manager informed me that they have had a ban on them from 'headoffice' due to suspected forgery !!! apparently as the story then went there was a 'man' in the other day with a voucher and they think what this 'man' did was 'fraudulent'. So the nuts and bolts are i got refused usage of the voucher.

Now awaiting call back from customer service as i phoned them an hour ago, the girl told me she would find out why the store in question took this action !! I know its due to the fact they have never seen one before !! maybe i should be a little more discreet with my purchases in the other store i'm goin to use :D
