Hellp! Just back from my Hobbs/Thorntons mission, all went well. Got my free Treat egg and my free Hobbs top. I feel much better and am not bothered about my T vouchers being late.quickthinkofsomething wrote: »Not such a good deal net cost now 0.00 tesco is 2 for £2.00.

Oh right. I don't drink Frijj anyway (I hate sweetened milk stuff) but thanks for the info - may be useful for others.princesslou wrote: »im assuming the "!!!!!!" that were referred to. there was no proof this woman was a traveller so i suppose its offensive to travellers.
I thought that p.ikeys were just chavs, not travellers? Or do they all have the same meaning in England?costello75 wrote: »What a morning! I plucked up the courage to use my first voucher in my nearest store, it's a small branch and I've shopped there for 10 years so I was a bit nervy. The SA said she'd never seen a dtd voucher before, so she called over the superviser who didn't know what to do with it, and another member of staff, and they were tapping away on the till trying to get into different things on the menu. I suggested they just scan it but they seemed certain that a very complicated procedure was necessary. After 10 minutes with what seemed like half the store spectating, a teenage boy walked past and said just scan it then sign her receipt. They did that, and I was away.
I was so giddy that I had spent one I decided to go to the big store 10 minutes away and spend my other voucher. I assumed it would be easier. Unfortunately I got a doddery old mantrout on the till. In his confusion he scanned my old receipt which seemed to put its cost onto my new bill, then he insisted vouchers could only be accepted with a clubcard. He called the manager over and told her 'she has this voucher and it can only be accepted with a clubcard', his manager parroted back at me 'yeah, it can only be accepted with a clubcard'. I was going to ask where in the t&cs this is mentioned but couldn't be bothered to argue and I could hardly admit I just spent one elsewhere with no clubcard, so I just put the shopping back into the trolley and left it there without paying. Stressy!!
'Mantrout' LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
p.s. next time they insist on a CC, just grab a temporary one (forms are usually at the tills) and use that.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
