I agree with both posts, was just making a point on how they have actually modified it twice already with no warning, which did make the papers etc & make them look stupid.

It's not our fault most people pay over the odds at Tesco

We agree to agree...luvvery, now where are my vouchers today!!!!!!!

Aint found any yet, been to Cumbernauld, Shettleson, Coatbridge, Bellshill, Springburn, Kirkintilloch & Dumfries!!! Pesky Racks of Lamb

Rack of lamb was available in (at least) Maryhill (!) and Rutherglen until a week past Monday when there was a reshuffle of their merchandising - no longer shelf space for it.

I asked the same question a week ago and Scotsgirl replied saying she'd tracked some down to a smallish store in Edinburgh simply called "Tesco Edinburgh". Whether this is still the case I don't know.

As for Whole Leg of Lamb, there were four (Scottish) legs ranging from £18 - £22 in Silverburn last night. Some of the barcodes matched those earlier successful DTD legs posted here yesterday - I don't think the origin (Scottish / Welsh / Irish / English) is determined in the barcode, as the detailed DTD results do not specify, and two of the Scottish Lamb Legs I noted matched earlier posts of successful DTD English lamb legs...

If they had any commonsense at all then the easiest modification to the T&C's they could do would be to limit it to having to print off the voucher from your email rather straight from the website and this would stop some people setting up new email addresses along with the fact that they could take miles longer in sending the vouchers (26/48) hours and that would halve the amount out there.

There are 101 things they could do, but risking a P.R. nightmare is something they cannot afford, and judging by the reaction of some of the cashiers and duty/store managers when you pull a voucher on them, then DTDing is not as widespread as you think - YET.

please dont be giving them ideas :( they have changed t/c already so dont think they wont do it again

you got 2 bottles for £26; factor in the voucher = 2 bottles for £6. BUT...you will not get another DTD voucher from that transaction.

if you bought one for £20.49; factor in the voucher = 1 bottle for 49p. BUT this time, you could have got a £15 voucher.

Yes, that right, but your original DTD voulcher would have decreased by £5 hence 1 bottle working out at £5.50 and this is the point where I get lost...

1st transaction- 2 different dtd shops- you pay with 2x £20 DTD voulcher and as a result you get back 2x £15 DTD voulcher and must pay £1 in real money + 'loose' £10 off the value of your DTD voulchers...

2nd transaction- 1 dtd shop- but 2 bottles for £26 using 1x £20 DTD voulcher + £6 cash, but no DTD voulcher back...

I can not work out which is the better deal... :o

I have it instead of mashed potato, been eating it so long mashed spud tastes weird now. Started off to save the waistline, now I just love it!

Some days, if I really can't be bothered I just have swede and gravy for tea!

I just did a search of the forum and looked at the SS but see no mention of the Birds Eye Scampi being confirmed, has this come back as N/A for people?
