Yes it was someone feeding their cat dog food and the dog eating the cat food. Cats are complete carinivores, unlike dogs who are partial omnivores. Good quality dry food is absolutely fine for cats, and will have all the vital neutrients they need, but as I mentioned to avoid bladder stones a wet meal a week is recommended. (I sell pet foods, so spend my life reading constituent labels, researching diets for customers etc lol). FWIW, i dont sell IAMS!!!)

A lot of older cats start to get digestive issues, so do dogs, so do we I guess, good on you for getting your kitty the best help she can and trying to sort her probs :)

    Thankyou! :T:T:T
My cat is a house cat, in fact a 1 room cat, so she is with me all day and all night so she is as special to me as anything can be so any hint of anything wrong gets taken very very seriously! :) I'll definitely start giving her wet food once a week, she'll enjoy that :D
I'm aware of problems with Iams... especially for indoor cats so would never ever let her have that!
I'm worried that the vets haven't looked deep enough into the sickness problems... they did blood tests and they all came back perfect (great news for an 11 yo cat) but kind of wish they would take a look inside her. Since she's been on the senior food she's been sick 3 times in about 6 weeks but plenty of fur in there so fingers crossed it's just the usual furballs. I don't suppose you happen to know whether it is safe to rub vaseline on her paws (so that she licks it off) once a week to help fur to pass through her... vets won't tell me because they want me to buy £20 tubes of Katalax!
If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :)

I've just released an app on the Android Market that I wrote and have been using for the last few days to help me calculate how much I am spending (so I can use a previous voucher) and how much DTD is to avoid going over £20.
    *snip*
Any feedback would be great. Hope it is ok to post this and it's the right place.

Just had a quick test run of it and it works great :T:T

    Hi guys

Can anyone confirm which Ambre Solaire for Kids are working. Need some for holiday in a few weeks.

Did have a quick look on MySupermarket and couldn't find most of them in the Spray varieties.

    Cheers

Call me sad, but being in the Military and as we are all getting made redundant, i had a trawl thru this 4th thread of the Tesco/Asda pricechecker. We are currently upto 3990 and of all the threads only 226 give any info on groceries that have been compared!

What have we become where we are all !!!!!ing and complaining about others greed, if the spreadsheet is in the right wrong format if the prices are the wrong colour! etc.

Surely as this is a money saving site we should talk/post about areas where we can save the most money with the least spend.

I take my hat of to those who maintain the spreadsheet, and will quite happily go with the flow and accept whatever colour you make it!

Many thanks to all those who have given positive comments and pointers to items where the difference is for the good.

Standing by for all the incoming!!!!

Good luck for the future. :D I was given the push (medical) after 30 years from the RAF recently and these are uncertain times. However, you have picked up a ton of skills and (most) potential employers appreciate our multi skill sets. Sell yourself and there is life out side the military! :D

    All the best :T :T
Now debt free and working towards saving my 1st £1000!

Is someone winding us up about the vouchers being in?

Only one person saying they are in?

Oh and mine aren't in either.

You can search the Asda website when entering purchases to confirm the price hasn't changed and also view the spreadsheet to get inspiration if your intended purchases have sold out.

It's free and there's no adverts just a link in the menu to my other apps.

It's not pretty but I find it very useful and figured others may too.

You can find it and see screenshots by searching for "DTD Calculator" on the Android Market or on the Android Market web site. I've kept the description quite sparse because the app is only really going to useful to us lot. Unfortunately I can't put a web link to the Android Market here because I don't have enough posts. If you have any problems finding it send me a message and I'll send you the link.

Any feedback would be great. Hope it is ok to post this and it's the right place.

The android app is brilliant - Many thanks AshtonBRSC
