I just tell my self now that you ''have to speculate (inital £20 investment) to accumulate.

Irony is we'd already speculated and would have happily picked stuff up for her! Change averse is the phrase I think.

DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!
  • Welcome pfpf - nice to see you in another zone!

As said before - vouchers should be fine with slightly mismatched numbers, CS have confirmed so stand your ground :D

  • a few tips as i have a 100% hit rate so far *touches all things wooden*
    - i print out a copy of the page that shows the comparison along with the actual voucher, just so i have ammunition if i need it. it's helped 'legitimise' the transaction in a few case involving clueless SAs.
    - being female i scope out young/bored male SAs, then furiously bat eyelashes (to the point of going cross-eyed), smile like it's going out of style and when push comes to shove.. wait for it.. bring out the baby voice (there, i said it). judge all you want, works a treat!
    - chatter away incessantly about all things random to distract them.
    - look ridiculously confident  irrespective of how flustered i am.

wow, reading this i don't come off too well !!!

Apart from the first one I use all of the above techniques, and in case of having to go to a s/a who doesn't meet the criteria, get the baby to be as cute as possible and wave which tends to distract trouts!

I did that last night but picked a 'middle' aged bloke and got all flirty. He must have thought I knew him as he started telling me that Alice* had in been earlier.

Alice? Alice who the :money: is Alice?

(*Names have been changed for comedy value but the rest is genuine;))

Thanks. I'll put it on the front page.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies
  • Another reason I initially passed on all this was because I used to be a massive bootser, and I have cupboards full of products that I may never get round to using - ever, and I didnt want this to end up the same way.

So I have mainly only been buying things I know I will use or a slight difference.

No point in having all these bargains if they just sit there, gathering dust.

I wonder how many tins of salmon will be given to schools and churches come the harvest festival, I suppose it will make a change from uncle ben's sweet and sour sauce :rotfl:

thought i recognised you lol....cupboards full of S&G :rotfl:
