Same here.
Our friends and family are either "oh, that's nice, whatever" or "what? I am not going to do that to save £2!".
Just one of our friends "clicked" straight away, and now she is putting me to shame with her 4 vouchers (recycled daily)!
I've given up telling people now, the response was so lacksadaisical. One person did the Turner wine but then just wanted me to tell her deals she might like all the time. P'd me off after I'd told her all the details of this site and how to dtd that she wasn't prepared to do any legwork herself so just fobbed her off then.0 -
Pack of 20 cans Strongbow...£17.99 Mr T's.....£13.22 Mr A's.....making that £8.45 for 20......42p each!0

sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere. i have just read from page 100 - 125 and my eyes hurt
i have only done DTD a couple of times but i got my voucher today and have printed it off.
the numbers (code) dont match the receipt.
the time is 12 hours out the 1st set of digits has a 0 in front of the actual numbers and the 4th set of numbers has a 9 in front.
will/has this cuased any problems?
i was thinking i will print off the actual email aswell as the voucher.
thanks.
p.s is there a way of editing a voucher to make the numbers correct before printing? i am not familiar with the type of file that the vouchers come in.0 -
I was just thinking how lucky I am. Lovely wife. Lovely kids (most of the time)
, Nice Car. FULL CUPBOARDS and then I read about this guy
If this does not touch your heart, then you just don't have one. This is an incredible story of luck and inspiration. This guy was skint. Shopped at Aldi. Home Bargains was a luxury. Tesco was another another world.
Can you believe it? This guy, Ade Taylor, wins £181 million in the lottery last Wednesday, and then finds the love of his life just 2 days later. Talk about LUCK!
:rotfl:
That reminds me, I must pick up milk tomorrow.:DIn one hand and out of the Other!0 -
So many people just don't get it at all. We took some Finish quantumatics to my mum in law, asked her if she needed anything else (she runs a b&b.....) and she was like, no, I get it at Makro....We did try to explain that whilst Makro may be cheap, she would not get 54 washed of surf for £1! but deaf ears...
I just tell my self now that you ''have to speculate (inital £20 investment) to accumulate.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

The dentist has diagnosed me with bruxism, which is teeth grinding, typically in the night. It's wearing away the enamel at an alarming rate so I'm also having a 'night guard' moulded. I'll look like a rugby player in full flow when I pull on my night cap soon.
Oh, and the receipt I mentioned yesterday is still 'processing'
Thanks for that! I'm having my abscess sorted out next wednesday with an appointment lasting 70 minutes!!!! losing a back molar and having root canal on the one next to it - not looking forward to that at all!!!:(0 -

I;m pretty sure the answer to this is in the FAQ on page 1, but basically it's fine, they're all like that and if the S/As kick off tell them to call customer services/head office0 -
Spreadsheet Download.
Can somebody please confirm that they can download the price checker spreadsheet.
I have uploaded it in excel but will also put other download versions on too. Thanks

(I was going to do it in PDF and Word too, but it is 14 pages long, so I'll leave it as it is)Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
went to 2 different stores today ( as I have to do Elderly Mums shopping and my sisters as she has just had a foot op). First store did shop for Mum and one for Sis both with a voucher. chose a young male cashier and he tried and tried to scan the voucher to no avail. So he called the team leader and she umed and ahhd and then went off to the CS desk while the queue built up behind me) eventually came back speaking to someone on her phone all the time and then took me and my shopping to CS desk.
There then ensued a conversation with 3 other assistants until she found one who had actually read the instructions they had been sent. She then told me the vouchers dont work on ordinary tills only on the CS desk ( a blatant lie!!) and finally put through my shopping and there was another great queue behind me ( for lottery)
Not once did anyone say sorry for the delay and it was almost like I was being a nuisance. I am trying to keep a low profile as one or two of the CS assistants cause me some bother from time to time because I shock Horror like to save money.
I then went to the Extra store in a nearby town where the young lady put all the 3 shops through fine and even asked me how it all works. She did not even look at my receipts let alone sign them .
Regarding their keeping your receipts I believe the receipt is your property and whilst they should sign it they should not keep it. I have all of mine ( signed and unsigned ) in a chocolate box so I can do a final tally when it is over.
Lastly does anyone know if you can use DTD vouchers and Double Up vouchers together as I have my eye on a mower as I broke mine yesterday0
